Join your favorite Level2 coaches in a group coaching series this month! Try out the Navigating Festive Celebrations and the Holiday Season Series, Healthy Habits for Low Carb Living — Seasonal Series, and/or the How to Manage Emotional Eating Series! We encourage you to try all classes in each series!

Register for which ever fits best in your schedule! We encourage members to attend each class of the series in order to get the full benefits. If you miss a class though, don’t worry! Feel free to jump in whenever!

Series Descriptions:

Navigating Festive Celebrations & The Holiday Season Series

Led by Coach Jeanette on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. CT, Coach Erin on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m., Coach Neha on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m.

Class 1 – Setting Your End of Year Wellness Vision: Define your seasonal/holiday health & wellness vision, establish accountability, and set the stage for setting realistic goals for the holiday season.

Class 2 – How to Ask for Others’ Support: Recruit allies to help support you this holiday season and set you up for success.

Class 3 – Identifying Common Seasonal Carbs: Grandma’s pumpkin pie, your sister’s famous green bean casserole, stuffing and potatoes! Or how about all those goodies brought into the office? How to navigate one of the most carb filled seasons requires a good game plan and we can help! Step one is identifying which of your favorite foods has carbohydrates.

Class 4 – Mindfulness and Coping Skills: Make sure you are enjoying meals to the fullest by tuning into your body’s cues.

Class 5 – Seasonal Stress Management Tools: Are you hosting your in-laws? Traveling? Spending money? As much as we love this time of the year, it often comes with a dose of stress which can affect your blood sugars. Learn how to cope with the stress of the holidays!

Class 6 – Seasonal Movement and Activity: With all of the moving parts of the holidays and this time of the year, sometimes the parts that need to move the most get overlooked! Discover creative ways to get the movement your body needs.

Class 7 – Post Thanksgiving Check In: Troubleshoot barriers, celebrate success!

Class 8 – Wrap Up: Let’s do a review of everything you have learned and been working on over these past several weeks. And more importantly… Let’s go into those last few weeks of 2024 feeling confident about your game plan!

 


Healthy Habits for Low Carb Living Series (Seasonal Edition)

Led by Coach Kayla on Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. CT

Class 1 – Spot the Carbs: Learn about basic carbohydrate identification, the first step to managing your blood sugars. Learn about food sources of carbohydrates, including hidden sources!

Class 2 – The Diabetes Plate Method: Learn how to assemble a plate for your favorite seasonal and holiday meals that can have a significant impact on managing your blood sugars.

Class 3 – Level2 Plate Meals and Food Label Reading: In this class, walk through how to read a food label and how to create a carb friendly balanced plate to manage your blood sugars.

Class 4 – Master Carb Counting: Learn how to count holiday and seasonal carbohydrates with a simple 4 step process!

Class 5 – Applying Nutrition Concepts to Your Daily Life: Let’s apply all the nutrition concepts you have learned from the advanced nutrition series! We will review: identifying carbs, food label reading, creating a balanced plate, and counting your carbs.

 


How to Manage Emotional Eating Series

Led by Coach Kelly on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. CT

Class 1 – Emotional Awareness: Learn how to identify feelings. This is the first step to understanding emotional eating.

Class 2 – Recognizing Eating Patterns: How does awareness factor into your eating plan? How do you decide what to eat? What factors influence what you eat throughout the day? Join our Level2 coaches as they help you explore awareness.

Class 3 – Exploring Alternative Coping Skills: Many of us use food as a way to cope. But what other coping skills are in your toolbox? Our Level2 coaches are here to help you find healthy coping skills to use in your day to day life.

Class 4 – Mindful Eating Principles: Have you ever asked yourself, “Why am I eating right now?” It is a good start to understanding your hunger cues. Learn to identify cues to help you eat when your body needs fueling, and not just in responding to situations.

Class 5 – Accountability and Wrap Up: Review what you’ve learned about eating for better health instead of eating for emotion. Set yourself up for success by staying accountable and setting realistic goals to help you reduce emotional eating.
