Welcome to Level2—we’re glad you’re here.
You’ve taken an important step toward improving your health. Whether your goal is to improve your glucose, lose weight, or both, Level2 is designed to help you make meaningful, lasting progress. Using tools like a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and personalized support from your care team, you’ll gain insight into how your body responds to food, activity, and daily habits—so you can make changes that support your goals and help reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes over time.
This guide will walk you through what to expect in your first 30 days and how to get started strong.
What to Expect in Your First 30 Days
Your first month is all about getting set up, getting connected, and building momentum with your care team.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Logging into the Level2 portal
- Completing your required appointment(s)
- Receiving and setting up your Level2 Setup Kit
- Connecting with your care team
Let’s walk through each step.
1. Log into the Level2 Portal
The Level2 Portal is your home base throughout the program.
You can access the portal directly from your web browser—no app download required. Simply log in using whatever device is most convenient for you: a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

In the portal, you can:
- View and manage your appointments
- Access learning content and resources
- Message your Level2 care team using the chat feature
Tip: Log in regularly so you don’t miss important updates or messages—especially from your coach.
2. Complete your Required Appointment(s)
When you enrolled in Level2, you scheduled one of the following on the website:
- An activation call, or
- An initial provider visit (if needed to confirm your enrollment status)
If you scheduled an Activation Call:
- This will be your first appointment the purpose will be to help you connect all of your devices and provide your next steps.
- It takes place over the phone. One of our enrollment specialists will call you at your scheduled date/time.
- At the end of this call, you will be scheduled for your initial coach session.
If you scheduled a Provider Visit:
- This visit takes place via video call on your phone.
- At the end of your visit, you will be scheduled for your activation call.
All scheduled appointments can be found on the Appointments page in the Level2 portal.
There, you’ll be able to see:
- The date and time
- Who you’ll be meeting with
- The type of appointment (phone or video)
You’ll also receive confirmation and reminder emails and text messages so you don’t miss these important visits.
Important: These appointments are required and are a critical first step in your Level2 journey. Attending them will help you get set up correctly and start strong.
3. Watch for Your Level2 Setup Kit
Your Level2 Setup Kit will be shipped after your activation call is scheduled.
Depending on your enrollment path:
- If you already scheduled your activation call, your kit will arrive soon
- If you need a provider visit first, your kit will ship after that visit—once your activation call is scheduled
Your setup kit will arrive in two boxes:
Box 1:
- Your Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM)

Box 2:
- Your Smart Scale (Wi-Fi Connected scale for weight and BMI tracking)
- A tape measure (to determine your waist circumference)

Each box includes instructions to help you set up your devices and connect them with Level2.
Important: Please wait to set up your devices during your Activation Call, where a Level2 Enrollment Specialist will guide you step by step.
4. Complete Your Activation Call
Your Activation Call is a key part of getting started and is required for all members.
During this phone call, an Enrollment Specialist will:
- Walk you through everything included in your setup kit
- Help you set up and connect your devices (CGM and scale)
- Ensure your data is sharing correctly with your care team
- Answer any questions you have
- Help you schedule your first coaching call
Be prepared:
- Have both setup kit boxes with you during the call
- Follow along with the specialist rather than setting things up ahead of time
This ensures everything is connected correctly from the start.
5. Meet Your Care Team
At Level2, you have a dedicated care team supporting you every step of the way.
Your team may include: a health coach, registered dietitian, nurse, and providers. Together, your care team will help you build sustainable habits that support your glucose and weight goals.
Your Coach
Your coach will be your main point of contact and a key partner in your success.
They will:
- Help you set realistic, personalized goals
- Support behavior changes and daily habits
- Provide encouragement, accountability, and guidance
After your activation call:
- Your coach will reach out via chat in the Level2 portal to introduce themselves
- Your first coaching session will be completed over the phone
Your Registered Dietitian (RD)
Your RD will work with you on nutrition strategies that support healthier eating habits, weight improvement goals, and a better understanding of how food impacts your glucose.
They will help you:
- Make practical, sustainable changes to your eating patterns
- Learn how different foods affect your body
- Build a plan that fits your lifestyle and preferences
Your coach will help coordinate time with your dietitian as part of your care plan.
You may also work with nurses and providers as part of your care, depending on your needs. To learn more about all Level2 care team roles, check out the Learning page in the portal.
