Join your favorite Level2 coaches in a group coaching series this month! Try out the Navigating Your Glucose: A Framework for Success Series, Healthy Habits for Low Carb Living Series, and/or the How to Manage Emotional Eating Series! We encourage you to try all classes in each series!

Register for which ever fits best in your schedule! We encourage members to attend each class of the series in order to get the full benefits. If you miss a class though, don’t worry! Feel free to jump in whenever!

Series Descriptions:

Navigating your Glucose: A Framework for Success Series

Led by Coach Erin on Fridays at 11:30a.m. CT

Class 1 – Setting Your Wellness Vision: Define your health & wellness vision, establish accountability, and set the stage for setting realistic goals. Learn how to reflect on the past, decide what is most important in the present, and how to take small steps to accomplish big dreams.

Class 2 – Intro to Understanding Your CGM: You have a CGM but now what? This class will walk you through terminology, patterns and trends associated with the CGM.

Class 3 – Principles of Behavior Change: How come it is so hard to make change? Learn about the parts of the mind and how to create new habits and routines in this class!

Class 4 – Spot the Carbs: Join one of our Level2 Board Certified Health Coaches as she walks you through basic carbohydrate identification, the first step to managing your blood sugars. Learn about food sources of carbohydrates, including hidden sources!

Class 5 – Intro to TRE: Learn why time restrictive eating (TRE) can be so effective and if it is the right tool for you to use!

Class 6 – Tips & Tricks for Reducing Blood Sugar: Let’s dive into different strategies that help to promote lowering glucose levels and support overall health and wellness goals.

Class 7 – Jump Start Your Exercise: Interested in exercise but don’t know where to begin? Join this class for a view into exercise guidelines and how to take small steps that kick-start a long-term exercise routine.

Class 8 – Stress Management: Stress — something we just can’t get rid of. Come learn how stress impacts glucose levels and gain some tools that can help combat stressors in your life.

Class 9 – Mindful Eating: Join us to learn about mindfulness around meals and strategies that can help create more awareness around hunger cues and eating habits.

Class 10 – Sleep: Did you know that sleep has a significant impact on overall health and glucose? Come learn about why sleep is important and some strategies for improving sleep quality.

Class 11 – N.E.A.T. Movement: This class will go over how you can use everyday tasks or activities to incorporate more movement into your day without hour-long workouts.

Class 12 – The Importance of Support: Let’s dive into why a support system is crucial to your success. This class will also review ways to gain support or ask for support.

 

Healthy Habits for Low Carb Living Series

Led by Coach Kayla on Wednesdays at 11:30a.m. CT

Class 1 – Spot the Carbs: Join one of our Level2 registered dietitians as she walks you through basic carbohydrate identification, the first step to managing your blood sugars. Learn about food sources of carbohydrates, including hidden sources!

Class 2 – The Diabetes Plate Method: Join one of our Level2 Registered Dietitians and Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaches as she walks you through how to assemble a plate for your favorite meals that can have a significant impact on managing your blood sugars.

Class 3 – Level2 Plate Meals and Food Label Reading: Join one of our Level2 Registered Dietitians and Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaches as she walks you through how to read a food label and how to create a carb friendly balanced plate to manage your your blood sugars.

Class 4 – Master Carb Counting: Join a Level2 Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach as she teaches how to count carbohydrates with a simple 4 step process!

Class 5 – Applying Nutrition Concepts to Your Daily Life: Join a Level2 Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach as you apply all the nutrition concepts in your daily life from the advanced nutrition series such as: identifying carbs, food label reading, creating a balanced plate, and counting your carbs.

 

How to Manage Emotional Eating Series

Led by Coach Kelly on Wednesdays at 6:00p.m. CT

Class 1 – Identifying Emotions: Learn how to identify feelings. This is the first step to understanding emotional eating.

Class 2 – Recognizing Eating Patterns: How does awareness factor into your eating plan? How do you decide what to eat? What factors influence what you eat throughout the day? Join our Level2 coaches as they help you explore awareness.

Class 3 – Exploring Hunger Cues: Have you ever asked yourself, “Why am I eating right now?” It is a good start to understanding your hunger cues. Our Level2 coaches will help you identify cues to help you eat when your body needs fueling, and not just in responding to situations.

Class 4 – Practicing Alternative Coping Skills: Many of us use food as a way to cope. But what other coping skills are in your toolbox? Our Level2 Coaches are here to help you find healthy coping skills to use in your day to day life.

Class 5 – Mindful Eating Principles: How does eating while using your phone or watching TV affect the quality and quantity of what you eat? Join our Level2 Coaches as they walk you through mindful eating practices. Tune into your senses to impact your eating behaviors.

Class 6 – Wrap Up: Join our Level2 Coaches as they wrap up our How to Deal with Emotional Eating series. Review what you’ve learned about eating for better health instead of eating for emotion. Set yourself up for success by staying accountable tand setting realistic goals to help you reduce emotional eating.
