Overcoming Emotional Eating
Register for tuesdays @ 6:00 p.M. CT 9/1 – 10/6 (Series)
Class 1 – Emotional Awareness. You will practice pausing to notice the emotions that drive emotional eating, and you are introduced to the Feelings Wheel as a guidance tool.
Class 2 – Recognizing Eating Patterns. Explore common eating patterns and behaviors. You’ll practice noticing the time of day, location, people or things present, and recent choices or experiences—and learn how pausing in these moments can offer insight into yourself and the emotions you’re feeling.
Class 3 – Practicing Alternative Coping Skills. This session introduces practicing new responses to emotional triggers. You will create a personalized list of alternative actions and are encouraged to post it somewhere visible for support and accountability.
Class 4 – Exploring Hunger Cues. Distinguish between physical hunger and emotional hunger. You will learn how to use the hunger scale and explore strategies for creating an eating schedule, especially for those using a GLP‑1/GIP medication who may no longer experience clear hunger cues.
Class 5 – Mindful Eating Principles. You will learn mindful eating practices that help you tune into your body, savor your meals, and support better digestion. The focus is on slowing down, creating a more enjoyable eating experience, and reducing overeating and mindless eating.
Class 6 – Accountability. You will learn about the role of accountability in managing emotional eating. You will create a personalized plan to maintain your progress and stay aligned with your goals.
Movement for Success
Register for thursdays @ 8:00 a.M. CT 9/3 – 9/17 (Series)
Class 1 – NEAT Approach. This session highlights the major health risks of a sedentary lifestyle and introduces N.E.A.T. (Non‑Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) as a simple, sustainable way to increase daily movement and calorie burn without formal workouts. You will learn how small, consistent activities—like standing more, taking the stairs, walking during breaks, or adding movement at home—can significantly support weight management, glucose control, mood, and long‑term health. The session encourages choosing 1–2 realistic N.E.A.T. actions to implement immediately and using accountability and tracking to stay consistent.
Class 2 – Exercise for Blood Glucose Management. This session explains how intentional exercise (both cardio and strength training) supports glucose control, improves insulin sensitivity, boosts energy, and enhances long‑term health. You will learn practical guidelines along with strategies for overcoming barriers and building consistent routines. The session reinforces starting small, staying accountable, and choosing sustainable movement habits that fit individual lifestyles.
Class 3 – Momentum Matters. This session reinforces how long‑term success with movement comes from consistent mindset work, daily NEAT activity, and intentional cardio and strength training. You are encouraged to challenge unhelpful self‑talk, visualize their future stronger and more independent selves, and choose small, repeatable actions that build lasting habits for better glucose control and overall health. The session emphasizes that progress doesn’t require extreme effort — just steady, realistic routines supported by accountability and self‑compassion.
Silent Factors of Glucose

It emphasizes the role of mindset in lasting behavior change by helping you shift self-talk, reframe obstacles, and connect to a deeper sense of purpose. You’ll also explore practical accountability strategies and daily reflection practices to stay aligned with your goals, strengthen motivation, and support long-term success.
